I am a parent to a lively very busy four year old who has had speech delay due to problems with glue ear.
I found Hannah’s website whilst trying to find support my son and I can honestly say I’m grateful that we did.
Hannah has gotten to know Rhys very well, the sessions we had were grouped into small sections at a level that was aimed at what Rhys could cope with not only ability wise but length of time as Rhys struggles with attention and focus being easily distracted.
Hannah has this way with him of gaining his attention and keeping him there to complete the task ending with little games as a reward system (pop up pirate was always a winner).
Hannah has really helped to make a difference to Rhys speech within a few weeks we, and I think more importantly, other people outside our family would notice how well Rhys was doing. I felt Hannah really cares about making a improvement in Rhys speech and the confidence that it brings to him, also that little smile when he has achieved the task reminds me that we are doing the right thing for him, Hannah has a real calming warm but professional approach when working with Rhys and he does respond well to the sessions.
Hannah also provides me ways of supporting and encouraging Rhys when things get hard.
We have I feel been really lucky to find hannah and that definatly reflects in Rhys progress he has made.
